Simple felt stuffed dinosaur craft
My preschooler has been asking to make a dinosaur for some time. Although his initial requests were for cardboard/toilet roll/robot dinosaurs (the technological ideas escalated quickly), I settled for something I knew how to make! This was a craft where I could involve both kids and also teach my 5-year-old some basics of sewing. His future wife may thank me for providing a domesticated groom.

How to make stuffed dinosaur
Fold green felt in half.
Draw dinosaur outline with tailor's chalk on one layer.
Keeping felt folded, simultaneously cut out both layers together.
Start stitching the two layers together, leaving a margin from the edge. The margin will help with attaching the spikes later. I drew a line with tailor's chalk as a guide.
Stitching on the outside instead of hiding it on the inside makes it easier for kids to join in.
Pause stitching when 50% of shape is stitched.
Fill with cotton wool.
Continue stitching.
Add more cotton wool towards the end of stitching.
Attach the googly eyes and you're good to go.
And of course, the more colourful the googly eyes, the better the dinosaur!
