Kids' thankfulness boxes
This one is pretty self-explanatory! I used the craft both at home and in Sunday school. Making a fun box of their own design let the kids create freely and come up with their own, unique thankful content!
Supplies
The decorating possibilities are endless, but here are the materials I used:
- hard card box
- felt
- yarn
- Washi tape
- Googly eyes
- Felt tips
- Double-sided tape
- Glue stick
Tip: Make sure the pieces of paper that will go inside the box are cut smaller than the box outline. I learnt this the hard way and had to recut all of them as they got stuck in the box!
Past that, just lay the materials out for the little ones and let them get creative!
Some thankfulness cards that my kids made were: animals, Jesus, themselves. Funnily enough, neither of them went for “thank you God for my sibling”!
